Intercultural communication in the International Classroom

Forum, Room C104, 12:30-13:30 - How to deal with differences between students of different nationalities in an effective way? With the number of international students in Wageningen University on the rise, there needs to be more ways to combat the challenges that come along. Some internationals leave their home for the first time to find themselves in an alien country. Also, the Dutch students do not know what to expect from different cultures. This can result in tensions, and frustrations during group work in courses.
