Linux basic course on 2 October 2018
Are you interested in using the High Performance Computing Cluster (HPC) but lack the basic Linux knowledge? Join the free 4.5 hours course on the basics of Linux for working on the HPC. You will learn the Linux commands and skills needed to create repetitive tasks. The course is organized by FB-IT with contributions from WUR scientists experienced on the HPC.
Not a WUR-User? Then bring your own laptop
If you are do not have a WUR-account, than you are required to bring your own laptop. If you are WUR-user, you may bring your laptop, but it is not a requirement as you can login to the computers at the PC-Room.
HPC basic course on 11 October 2018
When you already have some basic linux experience and know how to write scripts then the free basic HPC course will suit you more. At the end of the basic course you will have insights into the possibilities the HPC can bring and you will be able to set-up simple computing jobs. HPC advanced course on 16 October 2018
If you already have any experiences in working on the HPC, then you can join the advanced HPC course. During this advanced course you will receive tips & tricks on speeding up working with the HPC. More information on this advanced course and how to register can be found on the webpage.
