We know it all: flying is bad for the climate, eating meat every day is unhealthy and letting your computer run all night long costs money and increases our CO2 footprint. So do we take the train instead of the airplane, do we eat more vegetables and switch off our electronic devices when not used? Nope.
So what do we need to change our behaviour and act in a more healthy and sustainable manner? There are many approaches to behaviour change, with informing at one end of the spectrum and forcing at the other. And of course there is nudging, new kid on the block, raising star. We are interested to hear which approach resonates best with you. What do YOU need to change, or do you not want to change at all? Listen what Kris van Koppen (environmental sociologist, investigating human interaction with nature and social learning) and Eva van den Broek (environmental sociologist, investigating human interaction with nature and social learning) have to say about behaviour change and engage/take part in the discussion with them. And since Emma Holmes will moderate this event, be sure that it will be fun!
