Masters of the sky

Did you know that an owl has it’s ears at different heights? And that Turaco’s have to eat a lot of copper? On Wednesday 11 may Wiene van de Bunte, together with Sven Willemsens, will give a lecture about birds and provide the audience with funny & interesting facts about birds. “From backyard birds to the elusive and beautiful birds found in zoos, probably everyone has a special memory about them”. Wiene will introduce the audience to some of the world’s most amazing birds and explain how they have adapted to their environment, during both day and night. Besides interesting facts there will also be a mini-exhibition, several video’s will be shown and the lecture will be closed with a live demonstration.
