Bram Jansen is Assistant Professor Forced Migration and Humanitarian Studies Wageningen University. He has done extensive research in Kenya and Sudan, studying how people build up their lives in difficult circumstances.

Based on his work, Bram has a close view on the responses of humanitarian organisations to the refugee crisis, and the role of small-scale agricultural technology in these responses.
