“Mind your culture gap” (intercultural communication)

Forum, 14:00-16:30 - Our society, organizations and therefore teams are increasingly becoming international. On the one hand, international teams can be more creative, productive and innovative. On the other hand, some unwritten rules embedded in deep-rooted values that we are often not even aware might bring the difference in ways of thinking and behaviour at work.
This workshop starts with a card game where participants experience what happens, and how they themselves react when operating in a multicultural group of people. Drawing from experiences gathered in the card game, we attempt to answer the question: What unwritten rules play a role in international collaboration? Next, we have a look at how to best utilise the differences, and how to avoid pitfalls in intercultural collaboration.
The workshop is free of charge, but registration is required in advance (see below).
