Eric Frijters is co-founder of FABRICations, a prize-winning design practice involved in architecture, urbanism and regional strategies. His work focuses on the spatial impact of a socially, economically and ecologically better environment. During a lunch lecture on 10th January he will share the latest trends in urban design and illustrate them with examples from his rich work experience. You will also get a sneak preview of the FABRICations plans for the redesign of the Bajes Kwartier, a former prison ground in Amsterdam, now to be developed into a residential area that claims to prolong the life of its inhabitants by three years!

This event is part of the student challenge ‘Design the ultimate urban greenhouse’ and will be opened by the Rector Magnificus, Arthur Mol.
