On Tuesday, 2nd of December, the pianist Tim Busker will give a piano concert during lunchtime in Impulse, located in the Futurum building.
Tim started playing the piano 3.5 years ago, at an age of 16, and has encountered a remarkable progression thereafter. In July, he performed in the Amsterdam RAI Theatre, during the opening ceremony of the annual European College of Sport Science and on the first of September he played during the official opening of the academic year at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU). Last summer, Tim attended masterclasses at the Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester.
Tim will play film music from the movies ‘Intouchables’ and ‘Amélie’ and other pieces of the Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi and the French composer Yann Tiersen. He will also play some classical music of Frédéric Chopin. The complete program is listed to the right (with some reservations).
