Rhenen Woodwind Players
WoodWinds is a group of musicians playing mostly light classical music, ranging from arrangements from the baroque era through Mozart to Ravel, though we also handle more modern pieces.

We mostly make our own arrangements of original compositions or adapt existing ones. The instruments which make up the ensemble are all woodwind instruments: oboe, flute, bassoon and a variety of clarinets. All musicians are also members of the Symphonic Wind Orchestra Ons Genoegen in Rhenen, which is about to celebrate its 150th anniversary.
As WoodWinds musicians we play in the first place because it is our joy, and it is even more satisfactory if our audience gets something out of it. We will attempt to tell you a musical tale that you’ll enjoy, perhaps because you’ve heard the piece before or simply because it sounds good.
