April 4th, Ploumen will talk to students and other interested parties about international cooperation and solidarity. Ploumen will also talk about her worldwide successful project She Decides, aimed at raising funds for safe abortions and sexual education in developing countries.
Lilianne Ploumen is the former Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade and Development. She was director of several international development organizations, like Cordaid and Stop Aids Now! Recently she attracted worldwide media attention after establishing the international foundation ‘She Decides’. On March 8th she was awarded the Aletta Jacob Prize 2018 for her involvement and commitment to the rights of women and girls around the world.
