In the context of Steptember, Wageningen Data Competence Center (WDCC) offers you a lunch walk with a lunch bag on 23 September 2019. We will gather at the Speakers Corner in Impulse at 12.30, where we will start with a short introduction by Willem Jan Knibbe.
You can choose from four walks, each with its own theme.
- Jacquelijn Ringersma, programme coordinator Data Management will discuss with you during the walk about ‘Issues in data sharing: using data from others, or letting others use your data’.
- Lucas Grus, programme coordinator Education will discuss with you during the walk about ‘Which direction should we go? WUR domain specialist with some data science knowledge or WUR data scientist with some WUR domain knowledge?’.
- Erik van den Bergh, programme coordinator Infrastructure will discuss with you during the walk about ‘Shared infrastructures are obsolute, all science should move to the cloud’.
- Lotte de Vos, programme coordinator Research and Willem Jan Knibbe, head of the WDCC will discuss with you during the walk about ‘External cooperation in research and infrastructure’.
There is a maximum of 12 participants for each theme.
