Symposium Plant-fungus interactions
Ter gelegenheid van het afscheid van prof.dr.ir. Pierre de Wit als hoogleraar Fytopathologie van Wageningen University organiseert Wageningen University op donderdag 5 juni het symposium ‘Plant-fungus interactions’ met sprekers uit onder andere Autralië en Groot Brittannië.
Pierre de Wit is een van de pioniers in het op moleculair niveau bestuderen van de interacties tussen planten en schimmels. Daarbij werkte hij samen met andere internationaal gerenommeerde onderzoekgroepen in onder andere de VS, Australië en Groot Brittannië. Het symposium ‘Plant fungus interactions’ gaat in op de geboekte resultaten en kijkt vooruit naar zaken die in het verschiet liggen.
Het symposium wordt om 16 uur afgesloten met de afscheidsrede van prof.dr.ir. Pierre de Wit.
