'The Future Farm' and how to transfer knowledge to the farm!
What will 'The future farm' look like? Business developer Chris de Visser and senior applied researcher Pieter de Wolf will present the facility that this project, initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture, has developed. This project is an example of how WUR can contribute to the transition to a circular agriculture.
Transferring the knowledge of WUR on circular agriculture to the 'farm' itself is a priority of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality. The Ministry is scoping the knowledge transfer “system” and WUR is defining her role in this process, based on all the knowledge we have and transfer in numerous ways. We want to share the current findings (work in progress) and collect input and suggestions on the next steps. Jeanine van der Straten, accountmanager LNV within Corporate Strategy and Accounts, will lead this part of the session.
