The Sustainable Food Initiative

The Sustainable Food Initiative is a new, ambitious research and innovation community in which we look for new approaches to answer some of the big challenges that we face in the production of food: due to the changes in demographics, in the climate, in the way we use our resources, and in the way that our cultures change, we need to explore new ways of producing sufficient, high quality for us all. We cannot take too much time for this: we need to start changing now, otherwise our world has changed before us, and therefore, we will combine fundamental research with fast innovation; we want to create a community of industrials, scientists, entrepreneurs, students, experts, consumers, and many others, and together find better solutions.
