Alumni meeting
Virtual DEAN event Nordics - Thursday 26 March 2020
On Thursday the 26th of March, at 20.00 hrs, alumni from both their own city and all around the Nordics, met each other via the ZOOM video conferencing app. It was the first ever ZOOM online event and borrel of the Dutch Engineers Alumni Network (DEAN)!
During this interactive evening, the programme included brief updates from the universities, followed by a short talk by TU Delft alumnus Bastiaan Lagaune about how the expanding space industry impacts our daily lives. During the second part of the programme, we heard updates from alumni in our local DEAN communities in Denmark, Finland, Norway & Sweden about their current situation, which was an opportunity to share information and tips with each other. Per tradition, the gathering concluded with a virtual borrel (BYOB) where you and your fellow alumni were mixed with each other to maximize interactions and stimulate conversations!
