Alumni meeting

Wageningen Alumni Event, 21 November 2017, Tokyo, Japan

University Fund Wageningen had the pleasure to invite all WUR alumni living in Japan to the first alumni meeting in Tokyo. This meeting was held on 21 November 2017 and coincided with the visit of Mr. Aldrik Gierveld of the Ministry of Economic Affairs to the Embassay of the Netherlands in Tokyo, Japan. It was a good chance to meet fellow Wageningen Alumni and to enlarge everyones professional network!

The alumni meeting on the occasion of the visit of the Deputy Director-General Agriculture and Nature of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Mr. Aldrik Gierveld, Wageningen University & Research was very successful, with an attendance rate of hundred percent. Some people came from far to attend the meeting. During the meeting, Arjo Rothuizen, accountmanager at WUR, gave a presentation on the WUR, 100 years WUR and alumni networks. Especially the discussion was well received. Even after the meeting came to an end, the discussion seemed to continue. Attendees exchanged contacts after the meeting.
