Dynamic Institutional Capacities for Industrial Water Use Efficiency in Vietnam

Samenvatting

This thesis contributes an improved understanding of the interactions between different levels of institutions and institutional capacity of the Vietnamese State and Industrial Zones that reinforce or undermine the development of industrial water use efficiency. The exploratory analysis of institutional capacities and the interaction between institutions and institutional capacity in the chapters of this thesis is based on a multiple case study approach and a variety of policy instruments.
