Moving to self-administered dietary assessment in National Food Consumption Surveys

For migrating from the current interviewer-assisted 24-hour-recall to self-administered dietary assessment in collecting large-scale dietary intake data, this thesis investigated the effect of collecting less detailed consumption data on population nutrient intake distributions, and summarized lessons learned from existing smartphone food records and validation studies.
