For the Category Development IFT B2B, Intact Protein team, Operating Company DOMO in Wageningen, The Netherlands, we are looking for an entepreneurial IFT ingredients intern.
A successful operating company of FrieslandCampina, FrieslandCampina DOMO provides high quality ingredients for the global Infant & Toddler nutrition as well as Medical Nutrition Industry. From milk and whey, our main raw material sources, we produce high quality spray- dried single ingredients, ranging from demineralized whey, whey & serum protein concentrates to milk & micellar casein concentrates. In the Intact Protein team we run our new product development projects, as well as projects to optimize our products & processes. For this internship we offer you to run one of the projects in our team, in most cases projects with a more explorative character. You will learn about product development in a multinational company, as well as the different product technologies and related processes. The work can range from literature search & reporting, analyses, lab- and pilot trials to factory trials. You will be supervised by an experienced Product Developer on a daily basis, but, depending on the work and your skills, needs & entrepreneurship you can work independently. Along the way, you will often be responsible for planning and prioritizing your own work and dealing with deadlines. To apply, you will need to follow a Bachelor or Master in Food Science & Technology, including Dairy Science & Technology, with a general interest in development and applications of food ingredients.
- Evidence of studying towards a BSc or MSc in Food Science and Technology or similar, including Dairy Science & Technology.
- Good English language skills, both written and spoken.
