Conviventia, a Colombian NGO, is operating in large national networks with also international linkages like the Woord & Daad Latin America allliance. In these networks, mainly addressing education, income generation and poverty relief issues, Conviventia often plays a facilitating role, convening different stakeholders towards a common vision and strategic plan. A main part of this role is creating and facilitating a learning environment for the networks. Learning as a network partnership is often a new way of working for most participating organisations and needs special attention. Over the coming two years Conviventia wants to strengthen its organisational competence to stimulate deeper learning between partners operating together for reaching deeper societal impact, which requires long term collaboration and systemic changes in the education sector of Colombia. This will also require the articulation of a joint learning agenda and the introduction of a set of tools specifically needed for learning in multi-stakeholder partnerships, tailor made to the context and situation of Conviventia and its partners.
