Presentations Symposium Publish for Impact
On Tuesday, 7 February, the Library and the Wageningen Graduate Schools organised 'Publish for Impact', a symposium on the publication process and strategy. The symposium was held in the Forum building’s large lecture hall. Over 160 people attended. Louise Fresco opened with an inspiring introductory talk.
The president of the board, Louise Fresco, opened the afternoon with an inspiring and personal view on scientific writing and publishing and its impact on society. Canan Ziylan and Jan Willem van Groenigen gave interesting talks about their publishing history and the issues they encountered. Ellen Fest offered tips and tricks from the Library's perspective. In her lecture, Anna Treadway focused on the publisher's perspective. The symposium was enthusiastically chaired by Bas Zwaan, director of the PE&RC Graduate School. The symposium can be seen on WURTV.
