The One World Week contributes to an inclusive culture, as we value differences. The One World Week focusses on interaction between people of all nationalities. One of the goals of the One World Week is to stimulate curiosity about each other, about differences and similarities in backgrounds and cultures. During the One World Week, opportunities are offered to celebrate diversity, to better understand people’s different perspectives and to learn about and from each other. The One World Week is interesting, it is fun, it creates insights, new contacts and stimulates cooperation.
Call for proposals One World Week 2017
Students and employees of WUR organise this event for students and employees and other globally minded persons. Activities you would like to offer, can be handed in via this form.
The activity must meet at least one of the following criteria, to be evaluated by the coordinating team of students and staff:
- Supports cultural awareness
- Contributes to celebrating cultural diversity
- Invites people to meet & greet, to get to know each other and each other’s culture
- Is open for everybody
