Social Dutch III follows on from Social Dutch II and is particularly suitable for anyone who wants to improve their Dutch for social purposes.
Entry level: A1 (CEFR)
Level on completion: A2 (CEFR)
Social Dutch III is a practical course. The focus is on oral communication in Dutch. Subjects are more general than personal, for example: education and work and talking about the past and your future plans. In addition, your vocabulary will be expanded and you will train your listening and reading skills. Basic grammar will be repeated and expanded to a slightly higher level than in part I and II but still subordinate to communication skills and vocabulary. At the end of the course there will be a small test.
This course runs for 15 classes. There will be evening classes of 1.5 hours, twice a week. In addition to the classes, you will be spending 2 or 3 hours on homework each week, in order to attain the desired level.
* Any classes cancelled due to illness of the teacher will be made up at the end of the course.
