The Involvement of the African Diaspora in policy-making concerning Africa

The foundation Africa in Motion (AIM, www.africainmotion.nl) is an organisation, which unites Africans in the Netherlands, with the aim of enhancing the socio-economic emancipation of Africa. AIM approached the Science Shop (Wetenschapswinkel) of Wageningen UR to conduct research on how AIM and African Diaspora in general can effectively participate in Dutch and European policy making concerning Africa. The research will be guided by Rico Lie (Chair group Knowledge Technology and Innovation) and Pat van Jagt (Alterra) will be involved in the research on the Dutch context.
