Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) is promoted serve to make science and innovation more inclusive, reflexive, responsive and anticipatory. However, there may be biases with regard to the type of research and innovation that RRI scholars focus on, and in the development stages that are considered. In this project the idea is to develop and apply a framework for the analysis of cases in which RRI has been applied and reported. What kinds of technologies and innovations are considered? And what stages in the science-practice continuum are being considered? Are there any biases and how can they be explained?
