The Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute (MDPI) is giving a 25% discount on its 2016 Open Access fees. Ten MDPI journals have an impact factor.

The MDPI has been an academic Open Access publisher since 1996. All 150 MDPI journals are fully Open Access. This means that research articles, reviews and any other content are available to everyone free of charge. The publications are financed through article processing charges (APCs).

In 2016, first or corresponding authors from Wageningen UR authors will receive a 25% discount on APCs. In 2015, Wageningen UR staff published 41 articles in MDPI journals. The Library has recently become an MDPI institutional member. The membership gives Wageningen UR authors an extra discount on APCs.
