A potato seed can change the world

The article in the Dutch newspaper Trouw reflects on a booklet for the general public describing a scenario study carried out by the Rathenau Institute to assess the potential impact of hybrid breeding and production from true potato seed in the potato production system. This publication was the result of the contribution of the Rathenau Institute to the CSA-led and NWO-funded programme on responsible innovation in potato production and is closely related to Luuk van Dijk’s PhD project.
