Alessia D'Amico joins Law Group

Per March 1, 2021 we welcome Alessia D'Amico as one of our new lecturers!

Alessia D’Amico co-coordinates the Global Trade Law course, teaches in the Food Law and Intellectual Property Rights courses and supervises students’ theses and internships. She has been a visiting lecturer at WUR for a year and is about to finish her PhD at the European University Institute, which explores how to optimise regulatory responses to consumer disempowerment over personal data in the digital world. Previously, she has worked at the UK Competition and Markets Authority and has obtained an LLM in Competition Law from King’s College London and an LLB from Queen Mary University of London.
