Climate Adaptation Atlas Bangladesh nominated by NWP
On Thursday 13th of April, three special projects compete for the Partners for Water Award during Waterproof 2017. One of these is the Climate Adaptation Atlas Bangladesh.
The Climate Adaptation Atlas (CAA) is an interactive tool that discloses and visualizes spatial information on the physical, the socio-economic and the institutional system to a wider audience. It allows for:
- problem analysis
- awareness raising
- agenda setting
- joint fact finding
- capacity building
- strategy development
The Climate Adaptation Atlas has proven to be an important tool to guide policy makers in addressing climate adaptation issues and formulating priorities for adaptation strategies.
