This one day course on data management planning is offered by Wageningen Graduate Schools and organised by Wageningen UR Library.

Venue: Forum, Room C106

The course starts with a series of background lectures and concentrates on data collection and statistics, information analysis and database design, and legal aspects.
The second part of the day focuses on a more practical level with lectures and discussions on how to organize one’s own research data and how to document the research process. Eventually the template for a data management plan is discussed.

These plans will be reviewed in small groups to benefit from the comments of fellow participants and a teacher. Depending of the size of the group the discussion takes between one and two hours.

Completion of the course will be awarded with 0.4 ECTS by Wageningen Graduate Schools.
