Course to effectively respond to the new EU Regulation affecting biodiversity and the use of genetic resources

Wageningen Academy and the Centre for Genetic Resources, the Netherlands organize the course 'Use of Genetic Resources - Implementation of the Nagoya Protocol in the European Union'. The course will be held on June 10th and 11th in Golden Tulip Motel Doorwerth.

This course enhances the capacity of participants to deal with the new (ABS) requirements and obligations stemming from the implementation of the Nagoya Protocol in the European Union. The course includes lectures, case studies and lessons learned. Participants are challenged to exchanges ideas and questions.

The course is in English and course leader is Bert Visser, director Centre for Genetic Resources, the Netherlands.
