The DairyBISS project has started a training program dairy business development for Ethiopian livestock sector advisors. This training program is part of a joint work plan with the AGP-LMD project and connects the activities of both projects, using their complementarity to achieve higher results. The collaboration of both projects underlines the intention of the funding parties, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the US Government’s Agency for International Development (USAID) respectively, to strengthen the impact of their efforts. Common goal is a sustainable improvement of support to private sector actors in the dairy business.

DairyBISS’ lead implementer Wageningen UR Livestock Research, and the LMD staff start the actual collaboration with a Dairy advisor training & coaching program. This six-month programme will initially focus on dairy development in the Oromiya region and the capital Addis Ababa.
