Researchers need to manage their research data safely and sustainably. A series of blog posts on Data Stewardship @WUR has been released on our OpenScience blog.

Our OpenScience blog, Data Stewardship @WUR, gives you practical information on how WUR is implementing Data Stewardship. The series also presents use cases from within the WUR.

The first blog post explains Data Stewardship @ WUR: A FAIR helping hand. In the second blog post, you can read about Maarten, a Geo-Information Specialist and researcher but also a Data Steward. WUR Data Steward Maarten Storm: one of the faces of the GeoDesk is a use case of a data service that offers information and services within its own domain.

The third blog post is about Sharing data in the 'monitoring of food loss and waste program'. The fourth blog is about data steward activities for systems and synthetic biology and microbiology. More use cases will be posted in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact the Data Desk. You can also receive more information on data management by joining the Data@WUR group on the Intranet.
