Donya Madjdian (MSc) completed a BSc and MSc in Health and Society at Wageningen University. Her interests lie at the interface of global health, international development and food and nutrition security. She started in 2017 as a PhD student in a larger research project: “Ten2Twenty: convergence and trade-offs of nutritional, social and economic pathways during adolescence among girls in low and middle income countries”, in which she studies girls’ transition into adulthood in Nepal. The study is funded by the Edema-Steernberg Foundation and supervised by, amongst others, Prof. dr. Hilde Bras, Prof. dr. Edith Feskens (promotors) and  Dr. Inge Brouwer (co-promotor).
