On October 18th undergraduates, their supervisors, lecturers and the staff of the Academic Affairs Office from the Department of Animal Science from South China Agricultural University (SCAU) had a lecture entitled “Animal Reproduction” given by Dr Teerds, Associate Professor from Human and Animal Physiology group, and Li Meng, lecturer from SCAU.

The lecture was very well received by all attendees. There was a good interaction between Dr Teerds and the students. For the communication Li Meng from SCAU assisted by translating from and to the English and Chinese language and therefore it was no problem understanding the lecture that was given entirely in English.

For SCAU this was a new and important approach to internationalize undergraduate education, inviting professional foreign teachers to
give the lectures, which was jointly conducted by the International Exchange Office and the Academic Affairs Office.
