Dutch agricultural journals in Delpher
Sixteen Dutch historic agricultural professional journals have been added to database Delpher. Delpher is a database maintained by the Koninklijke Bibliotheek. It includes not only journals, but also Dutch newspapers and books.
Sixteen professional journals from 1840 to 1952 (164,200 pages) are available to the public through Delpher. Fourteen of the journals are from the Netherlands, one is from Surinam & Curacao, and one is from Indonesia. The journals were digitized with a grant from Metamorfoze. Metamorfoze is the Dutch national programme for the preservation of paper heritage.
A few years ago the Library was also awarded a grant by Metamorfoze, to digitize 19th-century Dutch agricultural newspapers.

- Maandblad voor den Nederlandschen landbouwer, 1857-1891
- Nederlandsch Landbouwweekblad, 1935-1941
- Nederlandsch weekblad voor zuivelbereiding en veeteelt, 1895-1924
- Nederlands weekblad voor zuivel-bereiding en –handel, 1924-1949
- Orgaan van de Vereeniging van Oudleerlingen der Rijkslandbouwschool, 1894-1901
- Tijdschrift voor Landbouwkunde, 1881-1882
- Tijdschrift voor tuinbouw, 1895-1899
- Tijdschrift voor tuinbouw, 1910-1916
- West-Indie: landbouwkundig tijdschrift voor Suriname en Curacao, 1916-1924
Not all content of the journals is available from home though. Due to copyright some years can be browsed only at the reading room of the Koninklijke Bibliotheek. Those years or articles are marked with a small lock. Check the image below.
