The NBV will co-host the European Congress on Biotechnology 2020 in Maastricht from 28 June to 1 July.
The European Federation of Biotechnology has selected The Netherlands, and Maastricht in particular to host the European Congress on Biotechnology 2020. This large congress, that attracts over 1.000 delegates from both academia and industry, will be co-hosted by the Dutch Biotechnology Association (NBV).
Prof. Aldrik Velders, chairholder of BioNanoTechnology of the WUR and current Vice-Chairman of the NBV, was one of the scientific ambassadors that represented the dutch bid succesfully.
Next to this large european congress, the NBV organizes the annual NBC-17: Biotechnology Creating Opportunities, this year on the 16th of May in Hotel de Wageningsche Berg in Wageningen.
