We are pleased to announce that the FermFood project of Valentina Materia got granted by INREF. This project on “Traditional fermented foods to promote food and nutrition security. Entrepreneurship, value chain, product development and microbial ecology in Zambia, Zimbabwe and Benin” is a cooperation between several departments from WUR and several universities and organisations from Zambia, Zimbabwe and Benin. The kick-off meeting will take place in Zambia in the last week of Augustus 2019 and the duration of the project is 6 years. More information on the project can be found here.
