Finding and sharing open educational content workshops

The Library organised two workshops during the Open Education Week in March.

The workshops were on finding and sharing open educational content: pictures, videos, journal articles, textbooks, assignments, or whole courses.
One workshop listed all the sources where you can find open content. The other workshop focused on how you can make your work openly available and how the Library for Learning can play a role in this.

Typical of open content is that anyone can legally and freely copy, use, adapt and re-distribute these resources. Open materials can be a source of inspiration and adapted to your needs, but they can also be used as is. Using open materials is relevant not only for creating a MOOC but also for teaching on-campus or in courses for professionals.

If you missed the workshops, have a look at the PowerPoints and don’t hesitate to contact the Library for more information.
