Francesco Cazzini joins the Law Group

Per April 1 Francesco Cazzini has been appointed as a new lecturer within the Law Group

Francesco Cazzini co-coordinates the Global Trade Law course, teaches in the Food Law course and supervises students’ theses and internships. He earned his PhD in International Law in January 2020 at Università degli Studi di Milano, defending a thesis on international standards in the SPS Agreement. He holds a Master's degree in Law, cum laude, from the same university. As a PhD candidate, he spent several periods of research abroad, at the Faculty of Law of Leiden University, the Academy of International Law in The Hague and at the ULB (Centre de droit international). He also gained practical experience in the area of Food and Corporate Law collaborating with several law firms based in Brussels and Milan. His research interests cover different areas of International and Food Law such as: sources of law, International Organisations, sustainability, trade law (WTO), geographical indications.
