Watch the Library's video on Global Search to learn about its functionalities.
The Library has developed an instruction video for students to introduce them to the main features of Global Search.
With Global Search you can search multiple databases. You can search journal articles, books, reports and much more in one go. The search box is situated under 'Find publications' on the homepage of the Library website.
In 2.5 minutes this video shows you
- how to search for a specific document, starting from typing the title in the search box to getting the full text
- how to refine your results by using filters such as author, local collections, resource type and publication year.
- how to save and re-use your results and search queries with My e-Shelf
The video is part of the e-learning module ‘Locate and access the information you need’ in the Library's information literacy courses.
You can also find this video on the page ‘How to find publications in Global Search’ on the Library website.
