The teachers of the course Greenhouse Technolgy - Bert van ‘t Ooster (group Farm Technology of Wageningen University); Cecilia Stanghellini (Wageningen UR Greenhouse Horticulture) and Ep Heuvelink (group Horticulture and Product Physiology of Wageningen University) - received the prize from Rector Magnificus Martin Kropff during a ceremony on the campus. The winners were selected from the students’ evaluations, among the courses with a number of evaluations exceeding a threshold (both absolute and relative). The prize is the image of a plantlet and 1000€ to invest in improving the course.

Kropff observed that it is not the 'easy' courses that get the most praise from the students. Indeed, he remarked  “our students do want to learn and be challenged to master difficult topics”.
