Improve your visibility in Google Scholar

Last November Google Scholar launched the new bibliographic and citation database Google Schola Citations. So far about 170 Wageningen UR employees have created a public profile in the database.Google’s new service is comparable with the databases such as Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus, where you can also create and edit these types of profiles.

In these more formal systems, a unique number offers the chance to correctly combine publications that have been split up across multiple profiles. This is especially valuable for authors who have not consistently used the same name or initials for their publications.
These types of profiles can help scientists demonstrate their qualities for evaluations, subsidy requests or job applications in a direct and simple way.
