Do you need to refresh your information literacy skills? Go check out our e-learning modules on your laptop or tablet. They have been updated and modernized over the summer.

Information Literacy?

Information literacy is an academic skill to deal with vast amounts of information. Its about knowing when and why you need information, where you can find it, and how to evaluate, use and communicate it ethically. (CILIP, UK).

E-learning modules

The library offers a range of e-learning modules for self-study or simply to refresh your knowledge on Information Literacy. This summer, we updated the content and the layout of the modules. You'll find new explanatory videos and even a complete new module on the basics of copyright law. You're also not bound to a computer anymore; you can now study the modules from a tablet, ideal if you are commuting by train, or if you want to study from your couch or your bed!

What can you learn?

Where do you find the e-learning modules?

Go check them out on the WUR library website, under “for students” section, tile “e-learning module”, or simply click here.  We'd love to hear what you think about our new modules, please send your feedback to the Servicedesk.
