Ever wanted to know more about what supermarkets like Albert Heijn are doing to improve the sustainability of the products they sell? These six-month internships will give you an opportunity to do just that.
Social issues are becoming an important part of the product integrity. The wide range of standards available mean that different claims are made in the marketplace. This first internship gives you an opportunity to create a tool for comparing these standards.
Sustainability also includes a wider range of issues, including social, but extending to environmental and animal welfare. This second internship will give you insights and work experience on how supply chains are managed to improve the sustainability of food and non-food product categories.
For more information about doing these internships (and a possible follow up thesis) with the Environmental Policy Group at Wageningen University contact Simon Bush (firstname.lastname@example.org).
