Interview prof. Bloemhof published in VMT magazine

Prof. Bloemhof explains how a shift in logistics offers opportunities for agro-food industry to improve, as was shown in a recent publication of the ORL group in the Journal of Food Engineering. In this publication logistic aspects of the supply chain were taken into account in the selection of production processes within the agro-food industry. It showed that for the final choice of a production process, the process efficiency isn’t the only thing to consider.
