The Dutch Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Economic Affairs are preparing a policy paper on food security to be published by the Dutch government by the end of 2014.

The Ministries have asked the Food & Business Knowledge Platform to organize a public online consultation to gather inputs from all those directly or indirectly connected with one or more aspects of Dutch food security policy. LEI Wagening UR is one of them. The F&BKP is a new independent knowledge platform initiated by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The consultation is organized around five themes derived from the international food security targets of the Zero Hunger Challenge. LEI has shared its vision on the first target '100% access to adequate food all year round': The Food Puzzle; From pillars to a Nexus approach.
