On Friday 4th July the Forum Library will sell wooden storage boxes, suitable for papers or journals. Each box will cost € 1.00 (please pay in cash). The proceeds of this action will be used to support the Booksteps Project.

Booksteps is a project that buys books for schools and libraries in Northern Uganda, an area that has been suffering from a violent civil war. By giving school children access to books, Booksteps wants to give them a better education and thus a better future.

The sale starts at 8.30am. If you don’t need wooden storage boxes, you are still welcome in the Forum Library to donate some money for this project.

More information about the Booksteps project can be found on their website  (in Dutch only).
