The Library and Wageningen Writing Lab join forces to support students with their writing.

As a Wageningen student, you can now get support for your whole writing process at the Library and the Wageningen Writing Lab. The Library offers you help in finding, selecting and citing information sources, or using software like EndNote. Make an appointment with one of the Library’s information specialists to find out more.

The Wageningen Writing Lab offers you help with managing your writing process and structuring your text. Common questions of clients are “How do I structure a text starting from a well-formed research question to the conclusion?” and “What makes a well-written text or well-written paragraph?”. Some time is also spent on style and formulation. But, when students lack basic English skills, they’re advised to go to Wageningen in'to Languages for help.

The Wageningen Writing Lab is located in the Forum Library and started six months ago. Its five tutors have already had 146 appointments with 115 separate clients. The students vary a lot: twenty nationalities with a range of writing assignments from theses to internship reports and essays. Many new students come because they’ve heard about the Wageningen Writing Lab from fellow students or from teachers and study advisors.

The Writing Lab is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10.30 am to 6.30 pm. The Writing Lab will also be open during the summer and tutors will be available for appointments.
