On Tuesday, 26 October, Wageningen UR Library, along with Elsevier, organised “How to write a world-class paper”, a mini-symposium on the publication process and strategy. The afternoon was held in the Forum building’s large lecture hall. A group of almost 400 people registered for the symposium, and in the end, more than 300 people filled the large lecture hall and the satellite rooms in the Forum building. The mini-symposium was also broadcast on the internet.
Because of the enormous interest beforehand and the enthusiastic response from the participants afterwards, the Library is going to do its best to organise a similar afternoon in April 2011. Martin Kropff, Rector Magnificus of Wageningen University, stressed the mini-symposium's importance and promised his support for the next one.
The symposium’s presentations can be seen in the overview below.
